Professionals in the Drug Demand Reduction field who meet the criteria for Global Centre for Credentialing and Certification (GCCC) Examinations will have the opportunity to take one of the following exams at the Conference in Nairobi:
International Certified Addiction Professional I (ICAP I)
International Certified Addiction Professional II (ICAP II)
International Certified Addiction Professional III (ICAP III)
Recovery Coach Credentialing (RC)
What are the minimum criteria to take the exam?

When does the exam take place?
The exam will take place on December 14, 2018.
Is there an exam fee?
Yes, the exam fee is US$100 per candidate excluding bank charges, payable to GCCC.
The Examination fees can be transferred to GCCC's account upon receipt of approval for the application. Once the review is completed, GCCC will contact all selected applicants to collect the examination fee.
Is the exam online or pen and paper-based?
The exam will be pen and paper-based.
Is there a Refresher Course?
Yes, a 3-day Refresher Course will be offered free of charge prior to the exam on December 14. The course acts like a study guide and provides a review of the material presented in the Complete Universal Treatment Curriculum series to prepare candidates for taking the examination. How do I apply for the exam?
Please note that all applicants have to submit the below documents to Samitha Gunasekera at samitha [dot] gunasekera [at] colomboplan [dot] org on or before the deadline on 19 October 2018 for the review of qualifications.
3. Detailed CV of the applicant highlighting the highest educational qualification and the major subject studied
4. Narrative description of the most recent work experience in addiction treatment
5. Certified true copies of training certificates
6. Certified true copies of School/ University certificates
Filling all sections of the Application Form and submitting required attachments are compulsory prerequisites for application review and GCCC will reject incomplete applications without any notice.
