Mr. Ahmad Shah, Director of ISSUP Pakistan, has been invited to speak at a KEYNOTE Session of the U.S. Exchange Program by USEFP in the ‘2nd Young Leadership Program – YLP 2018’ happening on 28th, 29th and 30th December 2018 at the National Incubation Center in Karachi, Pakistan.
This winter, join us for a life changing experience at the ‘2nd Young Leadership Program – YLP 2018’ happening on 28th, 29th and 30th December 2018 at the National Incubation Center, Karachi.
The Young Leadership Program - YLP is designed with an identification of the opportunity for young individuals, who are all set to hit colleges and universities, facing several youth-related challenges of the present time. The idea of the program was conceived to educate and engage the youth, and help them discover their potentials. 'Today Is Yours'... This year YLP is continuing its journey in the form of a three-day conference where young and emerging leaders from Karachi will learn and explore together under the mentorship of top notch professionals from the fields of business, politics, arts, science, media and education.
Mr. Ahmad Shah as a Consultant for the Youth Development Foundation helped implement their new project in Khairpur, Karachi, Pakistan on the 26th of December 2018. The “Diversity Tour to Worship Places” provided opportunities to bridge the growing gaps among different faiths and communities through youth initiatives by pointing out the commonalities of all faiths and by fostering interfaith understanding and cooperation and spending time in safe spaces. The concept of physically going to different places of worship was a more tangible experience than sitting in a neutral conference room. Walking through the Temple, Gurduwara, Church and Mosque naturally triggered many important and necessary questions about the things and symbols that we saw, and the level of openness was heightened through the humble awareness of being a visitor in someone else’s holy place. The project helped to create an environment where religious conflicts are set aside and relationships and partnerships among diverse youth can develop and flourish.
Mr. Ahmad Shah, Director of ISSUP Pakistan, organized a Substance Use Prevention session with BScN students at the Aga Khan University Hospital - School of Nursing. The aim of this program is to offer a Substance Use Prevention session to students, teach them about drug prevention and how to lead community-based initiative projects
We highlighted Global ISSUP and the ISSUP Pakistan Chapter. We focused on the aim and objectives, especially how AKUH-Aga Khan School of Nursing students can become engaged with and contribute to ISSUP. We mainly discussed three categories of membership for young professionals, student membership and very experienced professionals like faculty of AKUH. Overall, the session was good and all the participants joined ISSUP as part of the session.
Ahmad Shah, Director of ISSUP Pakistan, participated in the International Youth Campaign on Kindness for the Sustainable Development Goal's to mobilize the world's youth to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through transformative acts of sustainable change.

It was also conceptualized as a fest and included cultural performances from all parts of Pakistan.
The purpose of this Campaign is to mobilise the world's youth to achieve the 17 SDGs through transformative acts of Kindness.
The overall goals of the campaign are to:
