European College of Neuropsychopharmacology Congress
Location: Vienna, Austria
The European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) is a pan-European scientific association that encourages innovative research across the neurosciences and aims to translate new knowledge on fundamental disease mechanisms into new medicines and clinical applications. The annual ECNP Congress brings together neuroscientists, psychiatrists, neurologists and psychologists and others interested in disease-oriented brain research.
This conference's programme will examine the increasingly complex relationships between policy makers, researchers, communities and individuals, in a world where change is rapid and information technology has increased access to information, as well as changing the dynamics of communication and influence. The focus will be on the role of cities and how they can and should respond to and manage the needs of their communities, to ensure health and well-being are at the centre of policy and planning, in terms of the structures, services and support available.
The National Substance Misuse Conference 2016– Breaking Down Barriers will bring together experts in the field to catalyse and advance knowledge, present the most recent research findings, and promote and enhance key skills.
The Conference will provide a national stage to work together, interact with the audience and achieve the following objectives:

These all exert different pressures on European health systems, and innovations and visionary foresights are needed to turn these challenges into opportunities for sustainable solutions.
