National Youth Convention & Anti Drug Poster Competition regarding Substance Use Prevention has been organized by Youth Forum Pakistan (for Substance Use Prevention) in collaboration with ISSUP Pakistan & M A Jinnah Foundation (Regd), Sialkot which was funded by Mr. Bashir Ahmad Naz President ISSUP Pakistan on dated 6th February, 2020 at Al-Hamra Art Council Lahore.
The main objectives of this convention were to gather & mobilize the youth, raising awareness among youth about drug abuse prevention & its damaging effects on youth & the community. There were approximately 600 youth and ISSUP members members participated in this event from different schools, colleges & universities across the country.
In short, the crowd was a combination ISSUP Members, Researchers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Medical Doctors, Paramedics, Lecturers, Social Activists, Teachers/Academia , College/University Students and above all learners. This was one of the biggest Drug Abuse related event that has been organized in Pakistan by the untiring efforts of management team of Youth Forum Pakistan (for Substance Use Prevention) including Advisory Board Members, Youth Leaders, Presidents & Executive members from all the provinces of Pakistan and the backbone of the event ISSUP Pakistan.
In this event, the Government officials and personnel from concerned departments has also been invited so that in future to work together for the betterment of the Country by eliminating and eradicating the curse of drug addiction.
