انجمن طب رفتاری میزبان 41مین نشست سالانه و جلسات علمی انجمن طب رفتاری در سان فرانسیسکو، کالیفرنیا، از 1-4 آوریل 2020 است.

SBM یک جامعه پر جنب و جوش و چند انضباطی است که بر نقش رفتار در بهبود سلامت متمرکز است. بسیاری از چالش های بهداشتی دلهره آور ترین کشور ما ریشه های رفتاری دارند، و دستیابی به دیدگاه SBM از "سلامت بهتر از طریق تغییر رفتار" هرگز مهم تر نبوده است. اعضای SBM شامل دانشمندان و دست اندر کاران برجسته کشور، و جلسات سالانه SBM انجمن برتر برای تحقیقات پزشکی رفتاری با نفوذ ترین هستند.

انجمن الکول و دیگر سازمان های مواد مخدر NT کنفرانس سالانه مواد مخدر و الکل قلمرو شمالی خود را 1-2 اپریل در آلیس اسپرینگز در دابل تری هیلتون برگزار خواهد کرد.

در این کنفرانس دو جریان وجود خواهد داشت:

• ارائه خدمات بهداشت روانی در درمان
• گزینه های درمان غیر مسکونی

The Association of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies NT will hold their annual Northern Territory drug and alcohol conference April 1-2 in Alice Springs at the DoubleTree Hilton.

There will be two streams at the conference:

• Provision of Mental Health Services in AOD Treatment
• Non-residential Treatment Options

During the two-day conference, there will be an opportunity for organisations to bring banners, pamphlets, posters, and information about their services and programs to sit on tables in a dedicated room.

The UCL Centre for Behaviour Change is excited to announce the 6th annual digital health conference ‘Behaviour Change for Health: current and emerging science and technologies’ from the 06 -07 April 2020.

Description

The structure and process of bringing on a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) staff should be carefully considered before beginning the recruitment process. The role of the PRSS, as well as the flexibility and cooperation of existing staff, will impact the level of integration. To ensure a cohesive team, the entire organization, from administration to executive leadership, will need resources and training as well as implementation support around peer recovery support services and working within a recovery-oriented practice.

The Lancet Psychiatry, Mental Health Innovation Network, and United for Global Mental Health are launching a series of weekly webinars designed to provide policymakers and the wider health community with the latest evidence on the impact of COVID-19 on mental health and how to address it.

The webinars will provide practical solutions to the challenging issues we are all grappling with. Participants will be encouraged to join from around the world, including those with lived experience of mental health and of COVID-19.

To support a cohesive recovery community and addiction field services, there needs to be alignment. The treatment model for addiction has evolved with time. There are multiple pathways to recovery for substance use disorder. As treatment for addiction has changed and grown, there is a need for peer to peer participatory process. The outlook on addiction is still strongly negative in areas of the world. Sometimes, even in our own field, there is tension on what is the right treatment for an individual with substance use disorder.

This presentation will discuss strategies for effectively assessing, conceptualizing, and treating co-morbid eating disorders and substance use disorders. The presentation will begin with a brief review of quantitative and qualitative assessment strategies, followed by a short discussion around case conceptualization. The majority of the presentation will focus on psychotherapeutic interventions, with an emphasis on strategies drawn from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Equipping supervisors with knowledge of the day to day functions, including practice boundaries specific to the peer role, will increase job satisfaction and retention, reduce communication breakdowns, and lead to better outcomes for the individuals served. For Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS), supervision typically has two components: administrative and supportive. Administrative supervision works with the needs of the agency (scheduling, benefits, etc.).
