هدف از این نشست این است که برای ارائه یک انجمن که در آن محققان درگیر در مطالعات در مورد الکل می تواند ایده ها در مورد تحقیقات در حال انجام خود را تبادل. دامنه این نشست شامل مطالعات تعیین کننده ها و پیامدهای نوشیدن، فرهنگ ها و الگوهای آشامیدنی و همچنین پاسخ های اجتماعی و نهادی به آسیب های مرتبط با نوشیدن، پیشگیری و مراقبت است.
