The Korean Association of Addiction Professionals (KAAP) is a non-profit organisation of professionals, people in recovery, graduate students and general population who are involved or interested in the field of addiction treatment. Established in the year 1998 in South Korea, the organisation functions and provides training, organises national level examination and credentialing programmes and monitors the quality of service delivery offered by its credentialed addiction professionals. Most of the KAAP staff includes psychologists, social workers, nurses, recovering counsellors, teachers, pharmacists, health administrators, etc are certified as KAAP Addiction Professional I or II.
