The Norberto Bobbio School of Government and Public Policies represents Paraguay National Chapter at the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), which is a non-profit social organization that was born on July 28, 2017, its objective is to establish a space that integrate knowledge, efforts, resources in the effective and timely implementation of evidence-based interventions in the field of prevention, treatment and recovery of substance use; strengthening the education and training of professionals in the area.
The National Chapter will be managed through an Executive Council, made up of the Director, Francisco Javier Giménez Duarte, Deputy Director Evelyn Bordón and Secretary of the Board of Directors, María Asunción Cabral.
ISSUP Paraguay team is organized into Coordinations by areas: Communication, Prevention, Treatment, Social Inclusion, People in the context of confinement and Research.
The members of the Board of Directors are: Melva Gómez, Ruth Morales, Carmen Sánchez, Manuel Fresco, César Martínez, Pamela Martínez Silva, Laura Platón, Katiana Solís, Graciela Barreto, Federico González, Norma Coppari, Diana Lesmeand Ariel Jara.
