Obiettivo: Abbiamo mirato ad analizzare le differenze sessuali nei criteri DSM-5 tra i pazienti ammessi al  loro primo trattamento del disturbo da uso di alcol (AUD). La valutazione dell'AUD è stata effettuata utilizzando i criteri diagnostici del DSM-5 in uno studio multicentrico (CohRTA) all'interno della Rete spagnola sui disturbi da dipendenza. ABSTRACT

Background: People with severe substance use disorders require long-term rehabilitative care after the initial treatment. There is, however, a deficit in the availability of such care. This may be due both to inadequate medical coverage and insufficient use of community-based Twelve-Step programs in many treatment facilities.
