The VNGOC together with the UNODC Civil Society Unit will be holding two webinars to present and discuss the World Drug Report 2021, which will be launched on 25th June.
 
VNGOC are looking for civil society speakers wishing to present at these webinars, on how they use the data compiled in the World Drug Report each year and how these data impact their work. 

  • The first webinar will be held on 13th July 2021 and will focus on Asia, Oceania and Europe.
  • The second webinar will be held on 15th July 2021 and will focus on Africa and the Americas.

UNODC Indonesia together with the Indonesian Association of Addiction Counselors (IKAI) organised a remote training on Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) Basic Counseling for Addiction Professionals in September 2020. Since 2019, UNODC and IKAI have already an agreement on the training implementation using evidence-based materials to strengthen the capacities of the drug treatment workforce especially for those who already registered as IKAI’s member.

On 10th July 2020 in Jakarta, the National Guideline for Drug Dependence Treatment during COVID-19 pandemic was officially launched together with His Excellency Mr. Juliari P. Following the successful feasibility study in Indonesia on family therapy for youths with drug use disorders, Vietnam is the second country that rolls out a similar study as a way to offer more evidence-based, effective treatment alternative for drug use disorders.

The Drug Advisory Programme (DAP) of the Colombo Plan in collaboration with the National Narcotics Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BNN) has successfully conducted the first online echo training for the CHILD curriculum on Course 1: Interventions for Children with Substance Use Disorders in Indonesia.
