El pasado viernes 7 de agosto, tuvo lugar la apertura de la Diplomatura Universitaria sobre "Abordaje Integral de los Consumos de Sustancias" de la Universidad del Museo Social Argentino (UMSA) y del capítulo de ISSUP Αργεντινή.

De la apertura participaron Jimena Kalawski (Jefa de Reducción de la Demanda de la OEA / CICAD), Livia Edegger (Subdirectora de ISSUP) y Gustavo Mäusel (Decano de UMSA).

La clase εναρκτήρια estuvo a cargo del Dr. Luis Alfonzo Bello (PAHO) desde Washington, DC.

Esta primera cohorte de la diplomatura está compuesta por un grupo de estudiantes de diversas trayectorias...

President ISSUP Pakistan Mr. Bashir Ahmad Naz, with the support of stake holders and the business community, donated 100 High Flow Oxygen Beds to DHQ Level Civil Hospital, Daska. On this auspicious occasion, the Assistant Commissioner Asif Hussain, Mr. Mumtaz Ali Ex. Member Province, Deputy District Officer Health,  Assembly and huge number of  Volunteers who served during this Pandemic COVID-19 were also present.

Yesterday ISSUP participated in the CICAD-ISSUP round table on treatment during COVID-19. The meeting brought together ISSUP's National Chapters in Latin America as well as other professionals, experts and government representatives working in drug demand reduction in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and the United States.

The meeting was opened by Andrea Escobar, Senior Programme Officer at CICAD, who introduced the session and speakers. Brian Morales, Branch Chief, Counternarcotics at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs...

To commemorate 26th June International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking, 2020 ISSUP Pakistan and Youth Forum Pakistan (For Substance Use Prevention) arranged a zoom meeting with ISSUP Members and Youth Forum Pakistan’s Team Sialkot which was hosted by Mr. Muhammad Aslam Member President M A Jinnah Foundation (Regd) and recorded and video messages for youth and the general public to create awareness about substance use disorders.

En el marco del "Día Internacional de la Lucha contra el Uso Indebido y el Tráfico Ilícito de Drogas, el próximo 26 y 27 de junio de 2020, "Nueva Cultura Despierta" realiza la II Jornada de Adicciones denominada "La pandemia de las adicciones".

La misma estará coordinada por su Director, Andrés Olivera y cuenta con el auspicio de la Universidad del  Museo Social Argentino e ISSUP Αργεντινή. La transmisión será a través del canal oficial de Youtube de Nueva Cultura Despierta, al que invitamos a sumarse, en una doble jornada con ocho horas de transmisión diaria.
