INTRODUCTION: Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) is a condition unique to a newborn that results from the abrupt cessation of chronic intrauterine drug exposure following birth. Slightly persistent, late onsetting, or slowly fading-out symptoms’ manifestation may take weeks or months. Η Παγκόσμια Διοργάνωση του 2024 θα πραγματοποιηθεί στη Θεσσαλονίκη μεταξύ 24 και 28 Ιουνίου 2024. Η εκδήλωση διοργανώνεται από το ISSUP και το ISSUP Greece, το INL, τα Κέντρα Πρόληψης Εξαρτήσεων, Προαγωγής Ψυχοκοινωνικής Υγείας ΣΕΙΡΙΟΣ και ICUDDR.  Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο ιστορικό κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης, στους χώρους του «Διεθνούς Εκθεσιακού & Συνεδριακού Κέντρου της ΔΕΘ-HELEXPO» και στον περιβάλλοντα συνεδριακό χώρο μουσείων και κοινωνικών φορέων.

Το 2024 ISSUP Global Event θα πραγματοποιηθεί στη Θεσσαλονίκη μεταξύ 24 και 28 Ιουνίου 2024. Η υποβολή περιλήψεων είναι πλέον ανοιχτή έως τις 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2023 και προσκαλούμε συνεισφορές από επαγγελματίες σε όλη την πρόληψη της χρήσης ουσιών, τη μείωση της βλάβης, τη θεραπεία και την υποστήριξη αποκατάστασης, καθώς και από όσους εργάζονται με ευάλωτους πληθυσμούς. INTRODUCTION: The prevalence of gender-based violence (GBV) among women who use drugs (WWUD) is reportedly two to five times higher than among those who don’t use. This study aimed to analyse GBV experienced by WWUD in 6 EU countries.

METHODS: A survey was carried out with 261 WWUD, and additionally, 492 professional staff working with WWUD were surveyed. Fifteen focus groups with WWUD and staff and 120 interviews with staff and key informants were also conducted.

RESULTS: WWUD reported a high lifetime prevalence of GBV (97.69%) of all types and in many contexts. Migrant, ethnic minorities...

Recent research has revealed an increase in child hospitalisations resulting from accidental cannabis poisoning in various regions of Canada. Toddlers find cannabis edibles enticing due to their resemblance to common treats like candies, chocolates, or baked goods. Incidents of cannabis poisoning predominantly occur within households.
