The University of Bristol have an exciting opportunity for a researcher to work on a new three-year project (EPoCH) within the MRC Integrative Epidemiology unit (MRC IEU) at the University of Bristol, one of the leading centres for epidemiology in the UK.

The EPoCH study explores causality and mechanisms in the complex associations between parental prenatal health behaviours (smoking, drinking alcohol, physical activity, caffeine, high fat, high sugar diet) and childhood health across several domains including adiposity and neurodevelopment.

A research team of the Psychological Science Research Institute (IPSY, UCLouvain), is seeking a post-doctoral researcher for a project related to the social neuroscience of addictive disorders. 

This project will explore the brain correlates of dehumanization (the feeling of being treated by others as less than a human) in alcohol-related disorders. The successful candidate will coordinate SSDP’s global chapter network and provide coaching, connection, and education to the newest generation of drug policy activists around the world.
