VNGOC обеспечивает связь между НПО и расположенными в Вене органами, которые разрабатывают политику в области борьбы с наркотиками:

  • Управлением ООН по наркотикам и преступности (УНП ООН)
  • Комиссией ООН по наркотическим средствам (КНС)
  • и Международным комитетом по контролю над наркотиками (МККН).

VNGOC стремится обеспечить сбалансированное, значимое участие гражданского общества в межправительственных заседаниях и способствует представительству НПО, отражающих максимально широкий спектр точек зрения и вовлеченных групп, включая затронутое население.
