Poster Information

Poster Size & Orientation

  • Required size: A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm / 33.1 x 46.8 inches).
  • Orientation: Portrait unless otherwise stated by the organizer.
  • Leave at least 2 cm margin around the edges for mounting.

⁠Design & Layout

  • Title: Large and bold (minimum 120 pt) across the top; include authors and affiliations.
  • Section headings: 72–90 pt font, consistent style.
  • Body text: Minimum 36 pt font for readability at ~1 meter distance. 
  • Images & graphs: High resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Use strong color contrast between background and text.
  • Keep text concise — bullet points preferred over long paragraphs.

Printing

  • Print on matte finish paper or fabric to avoid glare.
  • Roll carefully and transport in a poster tube.
  • Run a small test print to check color accuracy and clarity.

Mounting Materials

  • Primary method: Double-sided tape (recommended width: 1–2 cm).
  • Use removable double-sided tape to avoid damaging the poster or board.
  • Apply tape along all edges and, if needed, small pieces in the center for stability.
  • Confirm with the venue that tape is allowed on display surfaces.

⁠Setup & Removal

  • Setup time: Arrive 30–45 minutes before the conference session to mount your poster securely.
  • Ensure all edges are firmly pressed to prevent curling or detachment.
  • Removal: Gently peel off poster to avoid tearing. Dispose of used tape properly.

⁠Presentation Tips

  • Prepare a short 2–3 minute summary for attendees.
  • Use visuals (figures, diagrams) as your main talking points.
  • Engage visitors by asking them questions about your topic.

 ⁠Accessibility

  • Use large, readable fonts and high contrast colors.
  • Avoid overly complex backgrounds.
  • Offer a printed or digital copy for accessibility needs.

Quick Checklist

  • A0-size poster printed and rolled in tube.
  • Double-sided tape (removable, strong hold) packed.
  • Speech rehearsed.

You will be able to install your poster beginning at 7:00 AM on the day of your assigned session

Any posters left on the board or in the poster area at the conclusion of the session will be set aside until the end of the conference and discarded thereafter.

All presenters are required to register for the scientific meeting. If you are not registered by August 15, we will withdraw your poster.
