In the entire world, smoking is a major contributor to preventable deaths and years of life with a disability. Nevertheless, little is known about the factors that influence women's smoking habits. This study evaluated the factors that influence smoking and smoking frequency among Nigerian women of reproductive age.

Iran, located in the Middle East, has a high rate of opioid consumption and different patterns of drug use. In this webinar, we will present the epidemiology and trends of methadone, buprenorphine, and tramadol use in Iran, as well as the negative health impacts of prescription opioid use, such as toxicity and mortality. This presentation was based on three published systematic reviews and discussed the significance and implications of its findings.

INTRODUCTION: Individuals who visit nightclubs and electronic dance music (EDM) festivals tend to use psychoactive substances, often multiple substances, in this setting and are at risk of serious negative health effects. The European Web Survey on Drugs1 collected data during March and May 2021 from people who use drugs, are aged 18 or older, and live in 21 EU and 9 non-EU countries including Lebanon. In this period, the populations in many European and neighbouring countries were experiencing COVID-19-related lockdown or restrictions.
