How to Become a National Chapter

If there is no National Chapter in your country, but you are interested in establishing a National Chapter, we welcome interest from credible host organisations.

Once you become a National Chapter, you will be part of a global drug demand reduction community, where you will operate at the local level, as well as engage with other National Chapters around the world.

ISSUP have a process in place, which starts with an Expression of Interest, and there is criteria which must be fulfilled before a National Chapter can be considered and become formally established.  We will also ask you to sign a ‘National Chapters Agreement’ which is valid for 3 years. A copy of our application process can be found below.

If you would like to learn more about our National Chapters, please look at the summary of our National Chapter Guidelines (below).  If you require more details, these can be found in our full National Chapter Guidelines (below).  Or alternatively, feel free to view our current, established National Chapters, where you can learn more about who they are, what they do, and view their latest news and activities.

If you would like to know more about how to become a National Chapter, please contact nationalchapter [at] issup [dot] net.
