We are incredibly excited to announce that ISSUP Togo National Chapter is currently in the process of registering as a civil society organisation.

The team behind the formation of the Togolese Society of Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Professionals plan to launch their National Chapter in September 2020.

ISSUP Togo will support the implementation of the National Anti-Drug Committee (CNAD) five-year national strategic plan (2020-2024) to address drugs and organised crime by providing quality training on prevention, treatment and research for national professionals.

PERTEMUAN DIGITAL CABANG NASIONAL AFRIKA

Pertemuan Zoom dipandu oleh Jeff Lee yang mengundang Kapitel Nasional Afrika untuk menjadi bagian dari pertemuan tersebut. Pertemuan diadakan pada Selasa 14 Januari 2020 pukul 2 siang – 3 sore (EAT). Pada tanggal 10 November, Pusat Rehabilitasi Nasional (NRC) secara resmi meluncurkan ISSUP UEA National Chapter, menjadi negara ke-14 di seluruh dunia yang mendirikan forum nasional untuk para profesional pendukung perawatan, pencegahan, dan pemulihan. Peluncuran tersebut termasuk konferensi pers dengan ISSUP Global dan organisasi pendukung pengobatan, pencegahan dan pemulihan lokal.

Based on the plan of the Informal Committee (Ad-Hoc Committee), the establishment of ISSUP INDONESIA will be inaugurated and launched in Jakarta in May 2020, after forming and establishing an Official Board of the organization according to the strategic programs and activities in the short, medium and long term in February 2020. 

A preparatory meeting was held on 29th November 2019 at UYDEL office and they discussed about recruitment of members, updating of Uganda ISSUP website, the work plan for 2020, Launch of the ISSUP Chapter in April 2020 and future plans. The meeting also agreed to hold an initial meeting with identified members on 12th of December 2019 to get more input from members on the best way to run the ISSUP Chapter.
