The UYDEL team, host organisation for ISSUP Uganda, partnered with the Church of Uganda, with support from UNODC and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to conduct awareness sessions for young people at Kaliro High School in Iganga, St. Stephen’s Secondary School, and Nabukalu Secondary School in Bugiri.

ISSUP Uganda, hosted by the Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL), in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), organised a Sports for Health Gala in the Kirombe slum area of Makindye Division, reaching more than 300 young people with important messages on drug use prevention, crime prevention, mental health, and healthy living.

As part of the commemoration of World Drug Day 2026, ISSUP Uganda, hosted by the Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL), will participate in an international youth webinar aimed at promoting evidence-based drug prevention and strengthening global youth collaboration.
