ISSUP KENYA komunikoval s více než 50 úředníky zastupujícími ministerstva, okresy, odbory a agentury (MCDA) na Keňské škole státní správy v Embu. Školení základních poradenských dovedností, vedené poradenským oddělením na Ministerstvu veřejných služeb, výkonnosti a řízení dodávek, se zaměřuje na rozvoj šampionů v oblasti duševního zdraví na pracovišti pro veřejný sektor.

Účastníci byli seznámeni s ISSUP a obdrželi pokyny o významu členství v této profesní asociaci. V diskusích s Grace Wanjiku, tajemnicí pro poradenství a komisařkou GCCC, bylo zdůrazněno, že existuje naléhavá potřeba...

Kongres ISAM 2023 v Marrákeši

Na začátku listopadu se ISSUP a ISSUP Keňa zúčastnily 25. výročního kongresu Mezinárodní společnosti pro léčbu závislostí (ISAM) v Marrákeši v Maroku.

Tématem kongresu ISAM 2023 bylo "Zlepšení péče a soucitu u závislostí: XXV let globálního zaměření a perspektiv". Ředitelka ISSUP Kenya Dr. Pamela Kaithuru se spolu s Brianem Moralesem, vedoucím protidrogové pobočky Úřadu pro mezinárodní záležitosti narkotik a vymáhání práva (INL) a zástupkyní ředitele ISSUP Livií Edegger zúčastnili panelu o důležitosti rozvoje vzdělané a profesionální pracovní síly při snižování poptávky po drogách v regionu.
