President Yoweri Museveni has assented to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act 2023 which among others allows the licensed Farming and use of Marijuana strictly for Medical use. The bill was passed by Parliament in August 2023 setting harsh penalties for a swarm of crimes related to substances abuse.

ISSUP UK are excited to announce the start of their INEP Plus course, which commences on 30 January and will run until 4 June 2024. The course will be led by certified trainers, Assoc. Prof Raffaella Marghe Milani and Dr Luisa Perrino from the University of West London.

ISSUP India Chapter efficiently conducted a two-day training program for Master Trainers on the NAVCHETNA Module, held from 23rd to 24th January 2024 in Faridabad, Haryana, with support. The primary focus was to enhance awareness and provide education on life skills and drugs to students in schools. The initial training involved four separate batches comprising 120 teachers each.
