The Strong Families program is designed to help families deal with challenges that may arise in association with life in low-resource areas. Both adults and children often deal with the effects of high unemployment and overcrowding as well as a lack of safe housing and conflict in the family and neighborhood. Sometimes, lack of adequate money makes it difficult to provide even basic food for survival.
