A two-day training on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is being organized by Dhaka Ahsania Mission and ISSUP Bangladesh on 03 and 10 July 2026, from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.

To observe International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026, “Seminar on Evidence Based Prevention for Youth” will be held on 21 June 2026 at 10:00 am (Bangladesh Time) at the Prof. Dr. M. H. Khan Auditorium, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Tejgaon, Dhaka. The event is organized by Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) with the support of Dhaka Ahsania Mission and ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) & ISSUP Bangladesh on 03 and 10 July 2026 from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm. The training Facilitator: Mr. Zahir Uddin, Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology, National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). 

State Minister for Youth and Sports, Md. Aminul Haque, emphasized that effective drug prevention requires science-based, sustainable, and coordinated initiatives.

To observe World Health Day 2026, “Youth Voice for Evidence based Prevention: Prevent, Don’t Promote” the youth seminar will be held on 08 April 2026 at 10:30 am (Bangladesh Time) at the Auditorium of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

The Bangladesh Chapter of International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) was officially launched to further strengthen substance/drug use prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives in the country.The launching ceremony was held at the Health Sector conference room of Dhaka Ahsania Mission in Shyamoli, Dhaka on 05th March 2026. It was a hybrid event organized by Dhaka Ahsania Mission. 

The Bangladesh Chapter of International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) was officially launched to further strengthen substance/drug use prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives in the country.The launching ceremony was held at the Health Sector conference room of Dhaka Ahsania Mission in Shyamoli, Dhaka on 05th March 2026. ISSUP Bangladesh presents the launch of the ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter. Organised in collaboration with Dhaka Ahsania Mission, the ceremony will bring together national and international experts, policymakers, youth leaders, and development partners working in substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery support.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission organized a daylong social event titled “Stand Together: A Journey from Care to Courage” on 16 February 2026 at Mayer Hashi Mental Health Service Centre, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka. 

The event celebrated unity, resilience, and a shared commitment to mental health, recovery, community support, and a drug-free life. It provided participants with an opportunity to connect, reflect, and stand together in a spirit of hope and courage.
