ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter Planning Meeting

The ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter’s 1st Planning Meeting was held on 15 July 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Meeting Room, Health & Nutrition Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Shyamoli, Dhaka. The meeting was organized by Dhaka Ahsania Mission and ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter.

The meeting commenced with the Opening Remarks by the Meeting Chair, Professor Dr. M. A. Mohit Kamal. This was followed by a Self-Introduction session involving all ISSUP Committee Members. Mr. Md. Mukhlesur Rahman presented a brief overview of the establishment of the ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter, while Ms. Sharmeen Rahman delivered a synopsis of the Chapter’s previous initiatives.
Following a health break, committee members engaged in discussions on upcoming initiatives. 

Mr. Iqbal  Masud, Director, Health & Nutrition Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, and General Secretary of ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter,  the review of the January–December 2026 Work Plan and facilitated the development of the Draft Work Plan for January–December 2027. 

The meeting concluded with discussions on Any Other Business (AOB), moderated by Professor Dr. M. A. Mohit Kamal, followed by the Vote of Thanks.
The meeting provided an important platform for reviewing the Chapter’s achievements, planning future activities, and strengthening collaboration among ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter committee members.

Among others present at the meeting were Mr. Ejaz Ahmed from Save the Children; Ms. Rakhi Ganguly, Senior Psychologist, Health and Nutrition Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, and Chair of Communications and Networking, ISSUP Bangladesh Chapter; and Ms. Marzana Muntaha, Coordinator, Health and Well-being, Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
