About ISSUP Korea
ISSUP Korea is the officially recognized National Chapter of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP).
ISSUP Korea operates as a consortium formed by Sahmyook University’s SW Addiction Prevention & Rehabilitation Center, ITTC KOREA, and the ICAN Headquarters.
Through this collaborative structure, ISSUP Korea brings together academic expertise, international training capacity, and global professional networks to strengthen prevention, treatment, and recovery systems across the nation.
Our Key Activities
- Professional Development & Training
– Delivering internationally recognized curricula (UPC/UTC/URC) and enhancing the competencies of professionals across prevention, treatment, and recovery fields. - Networking & Collaboration
– Connecting experts, institutions, government agencies, and international partners to promote shared knowledge and joint initiatives. - Research & Policy Support
– Encouraging evidence-based strategies and supporting the development of national policies grounded in scientific research. - Community Engagement & Recovery Support
