National Recovery Month was celebrated in Kenya on Friday 27th September with an event at the Empower Her Recovery Centre - Nueva Annex (Ngewa House) with the theme Empowering Women in Recovery. The event was graced by ISSUP Kenya members Dr Pamela Kaithuru (chapter President), Catherine Mwati, Jane Wambui (executive committee members), Fatma Musau (former executive committee member), and Kui Mucara (founder Nueva Annex) and Nkatha Mwenda. Tanzania had the opportunity to conduct a five-day Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) Core Training from September 23 to 27, 2024.
