In fact, the workplace has a potential role in promoting the prevention and reducing the substance related problems. Abstract
The goal of this study was to analyze the prevalence and pattern of alcohol consumption (frequency of consumption, average daily consumption, and risky consumption) before and during confinement due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the adult population and based on gender.
Methods: Data from 3779 individuals were collected via a set of online surveys. The AUDIT alcohol consumption questions (AUDIT-C) were used to measure the frequency of consumption, the average daily consumption, intensive consumption, risky consumption, and standard drink units.
People who inject drugs (PWID) are a key population for the elimination of hepatitis C in Europe, and increasing their access to HCV testing and care is a goal in European and national hepatitis C policies. Despite this, HCV testing remains low among people who inject drugs and effective approaches to promote testing as the first element of a cascade of care are particularly needed.
EMCDDA has put together a toolkit to increase access to testing and care in drug services.

Počet úmrtí souvisejících s drogami se za posledních 20 let výrazně zvýšil – v roce 2020 jich bylo 4,5krát více než v roce 2000.
Muži měli 2,7krát vyšší pravděpodobnost úmrtí souvisejícího s drogami než ženy, po úpravě podle věku.
Po úpravě podle věku měli lidé v nejchudších částech země 18krát vyšší pravděpodobnost, že zemřou v důsledku úmrtí souvisejících s drogami, než lidé v nejméně chudých částech země.
