PRESIDENT MUSEVENI ASSENTS TO THE NARCOTICS AND PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES (CONTROL) ACT 2023
President Yoweri Museveni has assented to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act 2023 which among others allows the licensed Farming and use of Marijuana strictly for Medical use. The bill was passed by Parliament in August 2023 setting harsh penalties for a swarm of crimes related to substances abuse.
