La Sociedad para la Investigación en Prevención es una organización dedicada al avance de la investigación científica sobre la etiología y la prevención de problemas académicos y de salud social, física y mental, y dedicada a trasladar esa información para fomentar la salud y el bienestar.
La membresía multidisciplinaria de SPR es internacional e incluye científicos, profesionales, defensores, administradores y formuladores de políticas que valoran la conducta y la difusión de la ciencia de la prevención en todo el mundo.
