During June & July 2023, the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) provided Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) school-based prevention intervention training to a variety of agencies.  A total of 42 participants joined the course which was held both online and in-person.

The National Rehabiliation Centre (NRC) is delighted to be hosting a Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) walkthrough for selected NRC employees on 6-17 March 2023, presented by Dr Hisham Al Arabi.  The walkthrough of the programme is to help prepare participants sit the ICAP exam and to be certified international trainers and serve as a clinical resource for the NRC.  

From December 2022 to February 2023, the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) in Abu Dhabi have been collaborating with The Colombo Plan to deliver various training courses to a variety of organisations in the UAE.  The courses included a Training of Trainers in Workplace-Based Speciality Course on Prevention Intervention and Policies, Training of Trainers on UPC Practitioners Core Course for Abu Dhabi-UAE Prevention Practitioners and UPC Practitioners Series Hybrid Training of Trainers

On the 24th February 20121, the National Rehabilitation Centre Abu Dhabi (NRC) today announced that has launched the first International Technology Transfer Center (ITTC) in the Middle East Region, which aims to benefit those suffering from substance abuse, in UAE and the region.
