Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) Walkthrough
The National Rehabiliation Centre (NRC) is delighted to be hosting a Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) walkthrough for selected NRC employees on 6-17 March 2023, presented by Dr Hisham Al Arabi. The walkthrough of the programme is to help prepare participants sit the ICAP exam and to be certified international trainers and serve as a clinical resource for the NRC.
NRC Collaborates with The Colombo Plan to Deliver Training
From December 2022 to February 2023, the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) in Abu Dhabi have been collaborating with The Colombo Plan to deliver various training courses to a variety of organisations in the UAE. ITTC NRC Launch
On the 24th February 20121, the National Rehabilitation Centre Abu Dhabi (NRC) today announced that has launched the first International Technology Transfer Center (ITTC) in the Middle East Region, which aims to benefit those suffering from substance abuse, in UAE and the region.
ISSUP UAE Launch
On November 10th the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) formally launched the ISSUP UAE National Chapter, becoming the 14th country worldwide to establish a national forum for treatment, prevention and recovery support professionals. The launch included a press conference with ISSUP Global and local treatment, prevention and recovery support organisations.
