Social detox

This refers to a structured, non-medical detoxification process provided in a residential setting designed to help individuals begin recovery from the effects of alcohol or drugs. Staff offer continuous, 24-hour supervision, monitoring, and emotional support within a safe environment. Social detox emphasises peer and social support for individuals whose withdrawal or intoxication symptoms require structured care but do not necessitate medical management or inpatient detoxification.
