We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined the ISSUP 2026 Virtual Conference, held online on 22–23 September 2026. Your participation and contributions helped make the event a valuable opportunity for global connection, learning, and knowledge exchange. The two-day virtual event provided an opportunity for our global community to come together and explore key issues related to the substance use and supply control workforce.
The event brought together international experts, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from 98 countries, with 1,395 attendees joining across the two days. The programme featured expert panel discussions exploring current challenges, innovative approaches, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration across sectors working to reduce substance use and drug supply.
The ISSUP 2026 Virtual Conference highlighted the importance of a skilled and multidisciplinary workforce in addressing the complex challenges associated with substance use and drug supply.
