Prochaska,s Change Model is amazing,fantastic .we can apply it in other behavioral interventions too.
Stages are 1.Precontemplation Stage
2.Contemplation stage
3.Preparation stage
4.Action stage
5.Maintenance stage.
And results of healthy and unhealthy maintenance.
(Recovery or Relapse)
At first stage,patient is unable to see his or her problems and does not want any change.
And we often focus on only drugs here.
If we see other areas like dissociation from addictive...

Disease of Addiction is complicated to understand by people due to its deep-rooted ness.
Patient revolves around this mechanism to satisfy cravings,urges by any means.He beaks every thing,promises,
rules,laws,social obligations and innocent hearts of his family members.
Any person who needs breaths to survive,will manage breaths at any cost and will not see the rules,laws or tears and cries of family.
He will not care about his responsibilities or social obligations..He has to survive only by taking breath..

Addiction treatment is a departmental treatment actually.There are many departments working at the same time together.
If they have good coordination,we can find wanted outcomes.in opposite condition   result will be opposite.
Family of patient has emotional approach to deal the issue.thay have anger,pittiness, resentments, helplessness,
disapointments,etc.These emotions and mental condition effects perceptions,thinking abd decision making.Emotional vulnerability has a potential to change...

Le domaine du traitement de la toxicomanie se développe rapidement sur EBP. Ce domaine offre un regard positif  aux patients et utilise un vocabulaire et des termes positifs à cet égard.maintenant dans les littératures modernes sur le traitement de la toxicomanie, la personne souffrant d’un trouble lié à l’utilisation de substances est utilisée au lieu de Addict.Ce type de soins émotionnels est digne d’éloges et très appréciable pour réduire ou minimiser la honte et la culpabilité.

most patients with alcohol dependence do not complete their therapy. they drop out after two to three months of clinical follow-up. now i have a patient who is in his second month of abstinence.

School-based drug use prevention: Church of Uganda Archbishop signs an MoU with Uganda National Authority

Great moment Archbishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Kazimba Mugalu of Church of Uganda signed an MoU with ational Drug Authority to enhance the church's current prevention efforts.

The church has 600 secondary schools, 5000 primary schools, 5 Universities, 256 health clinics, and  13 hospitals

Tumuhirwe Ezra Napoleon the CEO of Drug Addiction Free Africa has offered Drug Demand Reduction consultancy to Church of Uganda since 2014

Faith-based Organisations are critical in implementing the Evidence-based interventions

You will speak for yourself as I can do it 
Life is beautiful without a drugs 
You like the little things
How can you remove stigma
You don't have to tell anyone that I quit drugs 
You have to show your actions 
From your behavior, from your thinking, from your emotions, from your walking, from your getting up, from your sitting
you can do it
You are very lucky to have quit drugs
You have courage, a lot of passion, a lot of enthusiasm, but you should take...
