Fogarty Research Training Workshop in Ukraine
The Ukraine Fogarty Research Training Workshop took place on March 26-28, 2026, at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. This dynamic event brought together trainees and faculty from NIH Fogarty International Center training programs focused on HIV, TB, substance use and mental health research, global health, and bioethics.
The workshop convened participants from three D43 training programs:
Ukraine holds national dialogue on next steps for substance use prevention

A national dialogue aimed at reaching consensus on the next steps for implementing primary prevention measures for psychoactive substance use was held in Kyiv.
