A Nova Zelândia está fazendo história com o lançamento de um ousado Plano de Ação Sem Fumo que visa reduzir a prevalência diária de tabagismo para menos de 5% para todos os grupos populacionais em todo o país até 2025. 

O objetivo do novo plano é eliminar as desigualdades nas taxas de tabagismo e doenças relacionadas ao tabagismo, garantir que as crianças nunca comecem a fumar e permaneçam livres de fumo e aumentar o número de pessoas que pararam de fumar com sucesso.

O plano de ação inclui 6 áreas de foco para reduzir a disponibilidade, a dependência e o apelo dos produtos de tabaco fumados...

The third edition of NZ Drug Foundation annual report on how New Zealand is dealing with alcohol and other drugs was published in December 2020.
