BACKGROUND: Implementing quality measurement is still a challenge in the field of drug treatment and harm reduction. In this case study, we investigate which strategies can be used to enhance the implementation of a policy in which quality indicators are made public.

CONCLUSÕES: A partir de 2000, a Coolmine embarcou em uma jornada de gestão da mudança que manteve a organização na vanguarda do tratamento de drogas e álcool na Irlanda e internacionalmente, mantendo a fidelidade à Comunidade Terapêutica.
