أطلق فرع ISSUP في غامبيا يوم الجمعة 25 نوفمبر حملة توعية بالمواد المخدرة أطلق عليها اسم "لا تلمس" للأطفال الصغار في روضة سارة والمدرسة الابتدائية في لامين ، في منطقة الساحل الغربي لغامبيا.

بمساعدة من الدعم. حملة لا تعاقب ، نظم الفرع الوطني لجمعية ISSUP في غامبيا برنامجا للتدخل المدرسي كجزء من احتفالاته بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لمكافحة تعاطي المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها والذي يشار إليه أيضا باسم اليوم العالمي للمخدرات في 26 يونيو 2022.  

As part of its day’s long event celebrating the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking also referred to as World Drug Day on Sunday, June 26th, 2022, the ISSUP Gambia National Chapter in collaboration with the Support. Don’t Punish Campaign conducted an evening workshop on the theme “Addressing drug challenges in health and humanitarian crisis.”

The ISSUP Gambia National Chapter joined the rest of the world on Sunday, June 26th, 2022 to celebrate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking also referred to as World Drug Day in grand style.  

أطلقت مدرسة باكوته الثانوية العليا والثانوية بالشراكة مع وكالة إنفاذ قانون المخدرات - غامبيا (DLEAG) من خلال وحدة خفض الطلب على المخدرات يوم الجمعة الماضي ناديا خاليا من المخدرات في المدرسة.

وسيستخدم النادي المدرسي كأداة للدعوة لتوعية والدعوة إلى مدرسة خالية من المخدرات ومجتمع خال من المخدرات.

The Gambia has finally joined the prestigious list of countries forming the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP). The small West African country recently formalized its membership in the global drug demand reduction body with a colorful in-person and online event that was followed by a webinar on “Community Resilience in Substance Use Management” which attracted participants from 66 countries around the world.

“Drugs are bad, you must not indulge in drugs and other illicit substances.” These were the words of Alasana Drammeh, the Executive Director of ISSUP Gambia while addressing a group of students at the Glory Baptist International School on Tuesday March 1st, 2022. Drammeh made the remarks at a workshop organized for about 50 teenage students as part of ISSUP Gambia’s program to sensitize school children on crucial preventive strategies to help them stay away from drugs.

The International Society of Substance Use Professionals Gambia National Chapter held its maiden general assembly on Sunday October 31st, 2021 at Dippa Kunda in the Kanifing Municipality.
