Recovery Capital

Recovery capital is the personal and external resources a person can draw on to begin and sustain recovery from a substance use disorder. These include human resources, such as health and coping skills; social support; physical resources, such as housing and income; and cultural resources, such as shared values and community connections. The resources available to each person, and the barriers they face, shape their recovery and quality of life. drugsandalcohol.ie
