This live training on Motivational Interviewing takes place weekly on Thursdays from 12h00 till 13h00, starting 25 February 2021, with the last session being on Wednesday 18 March 2021.
Motivational Interviewing is a best-evidence approach for tackling harmful substance use and general motivation-related change, including that treatment non-adherence. It is an approach that does not seek to replace other therapeutic approaches, but that seeks instead to support and strengthen them.
UNODC has recently launched its new five-year strategy, covering 2021-25. Recognizing that a key to successful implementation of this Strategy will be the expanded use of partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders, the online meeting on February 25th will provide a briefing to Civil Society partners.
