Over the past era, there has been a call for legalizing marijuana cultivation and trading for commercial purposes in South Africa. Advocates of the call argue that the criminalization of commercial marijuana cultivation and trading has failed to stop illicit marijuana cultivation and trading. Nevertheless, the views of those who economically benefit from the illicit marijuana trade on its legalization remain empirically unsolicited.

Dans le cadre de la célébration de la 28ème journée internationale contre l'abus et le trafic illicite des drogues, le Ministre de la Sécurité et de la Protection Civile, le Gal de Brigade, El-Hadj Damehame YARK, a procédé le 28 juin dernier, à Lomé, à l'incinération des drogues et produits illicites saisis. Cette opération s'est déroulée en présence des membres des services techniques partenaires de lutte contre l'usage et la commercialisation des drogues et des stupéfiants, des organisations internationales et de la société civile.

Cette formation, organisée par le   Drug Advisory Programme (DAP), en collaboration avec le Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) du Département d'État des États-Unis,  se déroule en ligne et  regroupe les professionnels de la prévention nommés par leurs pays suivants : ALGERIE, CAMEROUN, COTE D’IVOIRE, HAITI, SEYCHELLES, TOGO, TUNISIE.

Le Comité National Anti-Drogue et ISSUP Togo sont représentés à cette formation et contribueront à la formation de vingt (20) professionnels Togolais comme formateurs après la première de série de formation  sur le programme UPC...

Togo's Ministry of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Access to Care has set up a national psychoactive drug addiction programme (PNAPP) that will help improve access to care for people with substance use problems.

This program will work with national institutions to reduce the demand for drugs to disseminate good practices in the prevention and treatment of psychoactive substance addiction.

ISSUP-TOGO welcomes this progress and will contribute to the success of the mission of this program.

Le Comité National Anti-Drogue (CNAD)  du Togo en collaboration avec ISSUP Togo a organisé le 27 novembre 2020 à Kara, ville située à 414 km de Lomé la capitale du Togo une journée de sensibilisation des élus locaux des municipalités de la Kozah1, Kozah 2,  Kozah 3 et Kozah 4.

Cet atelier de sensibilisation  s’inscrit dans le cadre du vaste chantier de mobilisation des collectivités locales  en vue d’une meilleure implication des élus locaux dans la réduction de la demande de drogues au Togo.

Deux importantes présentations  ont meublé les échanges notamment celle du Biologiste Lt-Colonel...
