EUSPR 2023 is being held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in October 5th and 6th 2023, with workshops and project meetings scheduled for the pre-conference day, October 4th. 

Our theme this year is ‘Optimizing Prevention Infrastructures’ and our keynotes and special sessions will focus on discussing the challenges facing prevention science.  

Established in 2009, the annual International Conference on Health and Hepatitis Care in Substance Users welcomes hundreds of practitioners, researchers, policymakers, advocates, community members and people who use drugs every year.

INHSU 2023 will facilitate learnings from the scientific community, healthcare providers, public health professionals, and the community of people who use drugs.

Network with a global community dedicated to the health and wellbeing of people who use drugs.

Over 100 sessions including plenary sessions, small group workshops, posters and networking events.

World-leading expert speakers from the fields of harm reduction, HCV, HIV, drug policy and more.

The 2023 CSAM-SMCA Annual Scientific Conference brings Canada’s addiction medicine community together to share new research, ideas and guidance on best practices.

By the end of this conference, participants will be able to:

1. Describe current challenges faced in the field of addiction medicine in Canada.
2. List the latest discoveries in clinical practice and research in addiction medicine.
3. Integrate new best practice guidelines in addiction medicine into their clinical settings.
