ISSUP Kenya, in collaboration with key partners, orchestrated a series of impactful initiatives during the National Substance Use Prevention Week, observed from the 19th to the 23rd of February 2024. The focal point of these endeavours was the creation of awareness at Kiambu National Polytechnic, specifically addressing matters related to substance use disorders.

ISSUP KENYA interacted with more than 50 officers representing ministries, counties, departments, and agencies (MCDAs) at the Kenya School of Government in Embu. The Essential Counselling Skills Training, led by the Counselling Department within the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management, focuses on developing Workplace Mental Health Champions for the public sector.

President Yoweri Museveni has assented to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act 2023 which among others allows the licensed Farming and use of Marijuana strictly for Medical use. The bill was passed by Parliament in August 2023 setting harsh penalties for a swarm of crimes related to substances abuse.

Αυτή η μελέτη θα αξιολογήσει την κατανάλωση αλκοόλ, τις συμπεριφορές που αφορούν στην κατανάλωση αλκοόλ και τα προβλήματα που σχετίζονται με τη χρήση αλκοόλ. Είναι διαθέσιμη μόνο σε κατοίκους Ελλάδας και Καζακστάν, ηλικίας 18 ετών και άνω, και θα παραμείνει ανοιχτή από τη 1 εως και τις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2024.

ISSUP UK se complace en anunciar el inicio de su curso INEP Plus, que comienza el 30 de enero y se extenderá hasta el 4 de junio de 2024. El curso será dirigido por instructores certificados, la profesora asociada Raffaella Marghe Milani y la Dra. Luisa Perrino de la Universidad de West London.
