I’ve been a member for a couple of years and am looking forward to undertaking the training on offer and connecting with others in the field.
Thank you for allowing me to join the network. I am starting my Science of Addiction courses, and it is asking me to find someone who is taking this course. If anyone can give me some advice, I am willing to accept it. I also want to thank everyone for all the work you do for those who are struggling with SUDS.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working with children with autism and other related disorders, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact that a supportive and stable environment can have on a child's progress. My work extends beyond the children themselves to the families, particularly mothers who are navigating the challenges of Substance Use Disorder (SUD). These experiences have deepened my understanding of how critical it is to address the needs of the entire family to truly foster long-term success for both the child and the parent.
