Los problemas de salud mental son muy comunes en las personas con un trastorno por consumo de sustancias, y estos pacientes tienen problemas más graves desde el punto de vista clínico y psicosocial que los pacientes con trastornos por consumo de sustancias sin problemas de salud mental comórbidos.
