The ISSUP Bahamas Chapter, in partnership with Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre, has launched the 5th Cohort of the Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) for Substance Use Disorders. The programme commenced on 23 February 2026 and will run until 6 May 2026, delivered in a hybrid format combining in-person and virtual sessions. A total of 23 professionals from a multidisciplinary team at Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre are participating in the training.

The Bangladesh Chapter of International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) was officially launched to further strengthen substance/drug use prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives in the country.The launching ceremony was held at the Health Sector conference room of Dhaka Ahsania Mission in Shyamoli, Dhaka on 05th March 2026. It was a hybrid event organized by Dhaka Ahsania Mission.

Following a successful Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC81) Engaging Youth in Prevention training held on the 12th to the 16th of January, 2026, at the Mokolodi Nature Reserve, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) hosted a certificate award ceremony for the participants.
