2nd (Adolescent & Adult) Addiction Counselor Training Program (Prevention & Treatment) — Now Accepting Applications
Hello, we are I CAN Headquarters.
I CAN Headquarters is an institution dedicated to training and developing addiction counselors both domestically and internationally, contributing to the resolution of addiction-related issues at home and abroad.
We train psychological counseling and assessment specialists, and operate a Psychological Counseling Center, parent education, foster care education, YouTube (promotion), national qualifying Clinical Psychologist(Levels 1 & 2), and youth counselor and supervisor (Levels 1, 2 & 3) preparation programs. In addiction, we operate training programs for Christian Education Addiction Counselors and Integrated Arts Addiction Counselors, offering a variety of programs to address addiction problems.
The 2nd Addiction Counselor Training Program, conducted by I CAN Headquarters, is designed to train professional addiction counselors capable of preventing and treating various forms of addiction among adolescents and adults — including behavioral addictions (gaming, internet, smartphone, gambling, sex, shopping, stock trading, etc.) and substance addictions (alcohol, drugs, narcotics, nicotine, etc.). The program consists of a Foundational Course and an Advanced Course.
The 71 instructors in this program are Korea's top addiction specialists with direct field experience counseling individuals with various types of addiction and their families, in both prevention and treatment settings.
Upon completing this program, you will receive:
2 government-recognized certifications
- Ministry of Health and Welfare: Addiction Psychological Counselor Level 1
- Ministry of Science and ICT: Digital Overdependence Resolution Specialist Levels 1 & 2

● Eligible Applicants Psychology/counseling majors, those interested in addiction issues, adolescents, infants, children, social welfare workers, nurses, counseling teachers, healthcare professionals, mental health workers, arts-related majors, athletes (professional/recreational), pastors and their spouses, educators, overseas missionaries and their children (bachelor's degree or above), etc.
● Courses Every Saturday, 6 hours (morning 9AM ~ afternoon 5PM) (refer to detailed schedule)
- Foundational Course: Apr 4, 2026 (Sat) ~ Jun 20, 2026 (Sat) | 12 sessions, total 75 hours
- Advanced Course: Sep 5, 2026 (Sat) ~ Nov 28, 2026 (Sat) | 12 sessions, total 75 hours
- Elective: (Tentative) Christian Education Addiction Counselor | Jul 4, 2026 (Sat) ~ Aug 8, 2026 (Sat) | 5 sessions, total 36 hours
- Elective: (Tentative) Integrated Arts Addiction Counselor | Available to arts-related academic society members with Level 1 or 2 certification holding an MOU with I CAN HQ, ArtsInPass holders, and arts professionals (including arts majors) who have completed both the Foundational and Advanced courses of the 2nd Addiction Counselor Training Program (further details to be announced)

- 1st cohort alumni: 50% discount on all courses

● Exam Fees & Certification Issuance Costs Fees applied equally to all students
- Exam fee: 100,000 KRW total (Basic exam: 50,000 KRW / Advanced exam: 50,000 KRW)
- Government certification (or completion certificate) issuance: 150,000 KRW total → 50,000 KRW each: Government certifications (×2) + Completion certificate (×1)
