Over the course of the past few months Professor Chris Wilkins and Dr Robin van der Sanden have been invited to share their latest NZDTS findings on drug trends, harm and digital drug markets with frontline social workers, community support staff and addictions specialists as part of several Health NZ-funded Alcohol and Other Drug Symposiums organised by District Health Boards in the North and South Islands. These events were a great way to bring together academic expertise and the practical, hands-on knowledge of frontline health professionals.
The Drug Research Team would like to thank AOD Symposium attendees, invited speakers and District Health Board staff for organizing such valuable events.
