The ISSUP Bahamas National Chapter has kicked off 2025 in style, with some UTC and SUD training already taking place earlier in the year. The Executive Team is delighted to share their planned activities for the remainder of the year, with a key focus on training the Bahamas drug demand reduction workforce. This includes running a second SUD training course and an additional Introduction to Evidence-Based Prevention (INEP Plus) course later this year.
We will also be launching an addiction campaign - focusing particularly on gambling and addiction - as well as hosting SUD prevention sessions for high school students across the country.
ISSUP Bahamas remains committed to raising awareness and plans to make a key contribution to ISSUP’s mission to professionalise the workforce by acting as the national focal point for drug demand reduction. We look forward to sharing our journey with you throughout this year and beyond. Stay tuned for updates!
