ISSUP Greece participated in the 8th Freemind International Conference 2023 in Brazil during November 2023.
Natalia Zachartzi was invited to implement 2 workshops on Parental skills to professionals from Brazil.
The aim of the workshop was to introduce prevention professionals to practices of strengthening parenting skills, improving parent- child relationships through communication, active listening and through shared time and activities, effective behavioural management strategies (boundaries, clear rules and expectations, family values etc), skills on active involvement in the child’s life through positive manners, emotional education, role modelling, anger management and conflict management skills.
Both workshops were very successful according to the participants' evaluation
